Description: This is a pleasant fire-road that climbs up to a series of viewpoints along a ridge on the western edge of Topanga park. It features a large number of potential stopping points, so allows the group to collectively select the reading location. It offers nice views into the city and up into the Valley.
How to get there: From Samuel's House:

Take either McCune or Victoria north-east-ish to Centinela.
Turn left on Centinela, and drive a couple of miles
Turn right onto the 10 Freeway onramp, but keep to the right
Take the 10 Freeway overpass onto the 405 Freeway heading North (towards Santa Monica).
Take the 405 Freeway to Sunset.
Exit Sunset and head west.
Turn right onto Mandeville Canyon Road (about two and a half miles)
After about a quarter mile, turn left at the stop sign onto Westridge Road.
Follow Westridge all the way up, avoiding the temptation to turn onto one of the many other roads. It's about two and a quarter miles, but feels longer. Park near the gate.

From Anywhere:

Take the 405 Freeway to Sunset.
Exit Sunset and head west.
Turn right onto Mandeville Canyon Road (about two and a half miles)
